Camera AF Microadjustment (link)

http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/a...djustment.html

Might be of interest for those who want to fine focus their camera/lens.

Re: Camera AF Microadjustment (link)

Looks intersting - but it went way over my head!!!
My understanding is that the 50D has the microadjustmentthingy feature which is why I am saving up for that over the 40D. Apparently it is especially useful if you like prime lenses (which I do) but I don't know why - that converstaion went over my head too!
Kit 1
Canon 550D
Canon 50mm 1.8
Sigma 30mm 1.4
on loan: Tamron 90mm
Kit 2
Canon 300D (in use by my 10 year old)
Other Kit

It's only useful if the focus of your lens is out. If your lens is fine, it's not required. All but one of my lenses are Canon, and the only lens I had to use this on was my Sigma

Thats what I thought - but a useful feature to have as your lens can be just a little out - but within acceptable range, then if your camera is just out in the other direction it adds up to a whole lot of out!
