I like the composition BC, although for some reason my eye is more drawn to the shoes. However I would say that the over exposure on the white shirt is somewhat distracting as is the blur around the gentlemans forehead.

Ok, it's the diffuse glow and film grain plus increased contrast maybe too strong? The original pic isn't overexposed but maybe the PP work is too much. I quite liked teh effect but we all have different tastes.

Can we see the orig?

It looks as if the focus was his middle area, as the head and feet are too soft. Open the apeture up a bit, or not as much blur?

Nice grab but something weird going on around his face/top half - looks like he's melting!

Ok, so I have overdone the vignetting and the diffuse glow... I think the conversion in Photobucket hasn't helped either. The original on my screen looks a lot better than on here. The true original is in colour and is sharp, as I said earlier it must be my PP.

...yet I like the original full size here on my screen, the glow doesn't look so exagerated. I think I am seeing that Photobucket does convert some colours and softens some pictures as it converts to the size and format of the site. Depends on what you have originally that changes I think.

That is why I prefer Flickr , Photobucket seems to do strange things to your work.

Photobucket has always been fine with me - do you guys resize before uploading? You should never rely on a site to resize...
