Re: International Centre for Birds of Prey (Bazza's thread)

Strangely enough Azz I am finding the D300 a lot easier to use than the D200. Ok the layout is almost identical and that is where the similarity ends, or at least it does for me.
The biggest difference I am finding is I am not struggling to get enough light onto the sensor, this gives me more time to concentrate on getting the other settings correct. Ok I am still taking mainly rubbish photos but not quite as many, but then again we all take them from time to time.

I was told by an expert photographer, the better the photo taken the less editing required. I am attempting to take photos that require no editing as I am hopeless at it.

Re: International Centre for Birds of Prey (Bazza's thread)

It's the old adage of "get it right in the CAMERA". Sadly many people believe the opposite and think PS can make a badly exposed or composed image perfect. It can't.

Looking over your images from the past few months Bazza, you seem to be getting better and better so you are doing something right

These BoP are very difficult to capture even if they are captive. The speeds they attain an be frightening so I think you have done very well with these images.
