Bears

Not the greatest photographs but how could I resist sharing.

It was a day out to the local park with my daughters but I'll certainly be back armed with my DSLR.

The darker bear is male and the lighter is the female. They have a nice new big enclosure which is miles better than the old one.

They're pretty big Azz !

A full grown male can weigh 460 lb and a female 330 lb. They may not be as big as other bears but at 8ft tall they're pretty impressive.

Re: Bears

Brings a smile, doesn't it! Are they young animals do you know Phill? It would seem so unless this is a sort of courtship preamble.

Do go back with the DSLR and see what you can get, mind you if your luck is anything like mine they will be asleep.

I've no idea what they were doing although they were certainly having fun. They were splashing about in the pool as well but I missed that. As for their age - one was born in 1986 and the other in 1989. Not sure if that makes them young or old ?

Re: Bears

Reckon that makes them adult, perhaps it was one of those days when it was good to be alive.
