These guys are nesting in my wall (of Ivy!) I have watched them so often that I decided to stalk them and try and catch a shot (also aiming to do a bird calender for My gran for Christmas).

I don't have a Tripod...I am not sure of the Shutter speed on these (it was a while ago and a bit spur of the moment!)I have wondered about investing in a tripod, but am unsure about how easy they are to get on and off quick.

You have a thing that is called a quick release plate that screws to the camera and that clips on and off the tripod in a second.
