Hey Gina,
The crop was good, but contrast still needed fixing
and I think the whole shot was a little bright. I had a quick go with PS.
I also removed a lot of hte wall, as it was not essential to the shot

I think the problem is the green leaf in the background. Like its been said, you really need to pull the contrast out to make it stand out. That said, its still a wonderful capture.
