Admit I never take shots of people in the street although I do take street shots - can't deal with people telling me I can't do something I know I can.

I have done it, and do it, not often, prefer to do it in the city, and I try to avoid taking pics of kids, I did take a shot of a man in London, who was in a huge hurry, and on the ground is the words look right, and then he literally almost walked into the traffic, as he got level with me. Okay, not funny if he got squished, but the picture always makes me grin, as it clearly has LOOK RIGHT on the floor, and a glowing WAIT at the crossing and I knw what happens next.

I agree that it is much easier to do in large cities where there is a sense of anonimity. I feel very uncomfortable taking people pics in my own town.
