Tried something different the other day and way out of my normal comfort zone.

Cheers Azz

I mounted the camera on a tripod and loosened the ball head so I could move the camera about.

Selected a small aperture so I cold get a slowish shutter speed. I focused (manual focus) on the trees using the the screen on the back of the camera.

I had a remote shutter cord attached and basically panned the camera from the top downwards releasing the shutter after starting the movement and continuing the movement for a short time after the shutter closes.

I had to try several different speed of panning al of which gave different effects.
