A couple more

Re: The Cruin at Loch lomond

Thanks folks.

Here are a couple more shots from the Cruin and Duck bay. Not entirely thrilled with these as they did not work out the way I hoped, and why I did not include them with my first post.

I wanted a close up of Ben lomond, so I used my 70-200mm f4.0 L for this shot, and although the reach was perfect, there was just something lacking.
I think if the mountain was evenly lit it would have made for a better image.

This next shot was the last shot i took of the evening and was the longest exposure as well, 10 minutes. Unfortunately the area of sky I was shooting at had no colour left in it as the Sun had gone down, and even the wispy clouds seemed to remain still for the 10 minute exposure. Can't complain though, I got the images I wanted in my first post

Re: The Cruin at Loch lomond

I really like both, but actually the mountain shot really appeals to me, I like the uneven lighting, I think it actually draws me in some ways, it's like anticipation!

Really wish you would post something decent for a change DJ.

Seriously though, inspirational, stunning images.
I do find the hand rails a slightly jarring element in #3, but that's just looking for crit.
