Hi Mark, I'm sorry to say I'm not liking these much, it seems to have added bags to much saturation. I wonder what they would look like with a bit of tweaking?

Dont be sorry Ken I did kind of rush them. As i said to Laura, its the vibrance setting in CS5 that sent the images over the top. I will just redo one, the chilterns image and not use the vibrance setting.



Still a little saturated, but only 42% instead of the 100% it was, no vibrance, and tweaked detail, shadow and highlights slightly. Now its just a poor mans HDR attempted image,lol. Proper designated software a must.

That's looking a bit better Mark, I guess it's one of those thing that after doing it a while you get the feel for the correct setting to suit the shot.

The major issue with any image i want to try and make a `false HDR` image out of is shot in jpeg, so the data is not there to work with in the 1st place, you can see by the sky in the image above, it looks really awful.
I have found what looks like a half decent HDR program to use, it was free so no loss if it is not that good. Only thing to do now is take some half decent images And make sure they are in RAW.
My biggest problem is that i am always itching to try something new, and i really need to be more patient and master what i am attempting before moving on to the next thing. My new years resolution. To slow down a bit and take one step at a time

I know what you mean Mark, I have lots of tutorial videos on Lightroom but I always seem to just wade in and try odd different things instead of finding the time to learn what I need to do.
