I've followed photography as a hobby for a long time (37 years) and have a great many slides.

I have some which I have scanned because they are starting to deteriorate and will be lost for ever.

Anyway here are a few of my wife I took some 29 years ago

Great set Ken, I like them all but especially #3, the desaturated/muted colours are lovely. Whether it is a result of some deterioration due to the age of the slide I don't know but together with the simplicity and spontaneity of the pose and her natural expression it looks gorgeous. If it were me it would be on the wall.

Very pretty girl.

Thanks Jeff, at the time we lived in a very small village and went to feed the ducks although I think the pond was frozen over at the time, so we walked on to see the horses a bit further on.

These would have been taken with a Pentax me-super on Kodachrome, iso25, slides film.

Another from that cold morning all those years ago:

But my wife wasn't always a willing participant I wanted her to be:

Re: Scanned slides (please add yours)

I have recently scanned our wedding photos in from the original slides. They were starting to deteriorate realy badly. After recalling the fashion of the day, perhaps they should have been left to quietly mold away in the drawer.
