Seems there is a lot of work gone into it, and one of the most extensive beta testing programmes. Plenty of good reports. I have Vista Business on 1 laptop, but prefer XP Pro on my other and desktop, and my work laptop too. Thought i'd give 7 a whirl.

I was running the beta on my old machine (and actually run it on my mac via virtualisation) - it's basically vista with a new skin and a few new features (that should have been in Vista really).
It's nice and worth upgrading but only if your PC has the specs to run it - be nothing worse than getting it and finding it all runs slow because your graphics card is struggling or you don't have enough ram.
