thanks ste but i tried before but no luck plus i have element 5.0

i never downloaded for photoshop again as it mess them up ! been playing up ever since !!

There is a link on the page for elements 5, I've been using the layer mask fiddle on 6 with no probs for a month or so now.

I have posted my rose in Nature I have done many attempts this is the best so far I think, this is using KK's method, and a bit of Diffuse glow
