Some random local peaks

I've nothing much to offer just now so here's a few pics taken over the last week or so.

Not really thought out 'landscape' shots as such - more a case of picking out a few crops of distant landmarks with a long lens whilst photographing birds.

Ben Lomond - I quite like the light and it's not your typical view.

Stobinian - along with it's partner Ben More (out of view) one of higher nearby hills

Ben Vorlich - a popular hillwalk

Stuc a' Chroin - often overlooked but a fine hill

Re: Some random local peaks

I love them Phil, this is the sort of landscape that I really enjoy, be it stood looking, driving through it or out having a walk. Fantastic.

Wow , Well captured , what lovely surroundings you live in .

I have never been that far up country but I will in the next 2 years , as we are giving Thailand a break for 2 years ( maybe !!! , I might get withdrawal symptoms ) .

Re: Some random local peaks

Lovely Phil, you sure do have some wonderful scenery there, the low light gives these such great depth and scale.

Thanks folks.

With regards to the light. These were all taken around 12:00. That's what I like about this time of year - a nice low sun even at the most convenient time of day.
