Re: Young Chimp and a Gibbon.

I like Mono, and I think the Chimp looks great he has a thoughtful expression.

It's a great shot of the Gibbon, but I always think they are a bit scary looking, they have skull like markings on their faces

Re: Young Chimp and a Gibbon.

NO!

I prefer to see them in colour. The only time I would convert to B&W would be when they are doing something interesting!

If they are just sat there I wouldn't post the pictures, or I would ensure they were sharp and in full colour

Re: Young Chimp and a Gibbon.

rude and a grump? yeah..if that's how you see it.

the difference between you and I is - I'm honest, and I love to see people take their photography to another level! i wont placate ppl for the hell of it. Nor do i self promote myself not knowing what I am doing!!

That's no reflect ion of Dawns abilities - Ive seen some of her amazing pictures before! I just dont think these do much for her or me.

Re: Young Chimp and a Gibbon.

Actually I was being honest i do like the photo in black/white i didnt just say it for a laugh.

Everybody likes different things thats a fact, some people can critique pleasantly some cant, that is also a fact.

Lets not hijack Dawns thread any further.
