Autumn is here

Went to bryngarw park again last wednesday was a beautiful day and took my tripod to try out lower shutter speed and learning with filters still trying to get my head around this filter lark lol

Also used white balance 9900 kelvin to warm up the red and soft nd8 grad filter on the path and the river had both warm up 81b filter and nd grad so i could lower more speeds

Re: Autumn is here

Hi Claire,

I like the water on the first shot, looks like you managed to get a fairly long shutter speed during the day there

The second shot is nice, leafy covered walkways are not too easy to find, not sure about your name being right in the middle of the shot though?

I like the red leaves on the third shot, but the fourth shot doesn't work for me, I think it's all the white, needs to be blue

Re: Autumn is here

They really are a cracking set, I would be hard put to pick one as the last three work so well as a set. Like the first one as well in this case I think the slowed water enhances the scene.

Sorry I don't like your name in the middle either try to one side or even on two lines on one side. If it is just for copyright then it would not be effective as it would be easily cloned or cropped and embedded would be best with a smaller mark on the actual image.

Re: Autumn is here

thank you for the lovely comments !

as for the name across the pictures ........well, i dont know what to do, these pics are set up on flickr and they do tend to pinch images ..... too be honest i thought they are hardly notiable but lol you both have spotted it lol

i do like the first picture but i think the backgound is spoiling it but i couldnt find the right spot as a lots of trees had fallen down during the bad weather we had here..... anyway i was only trying out the water with speeds
