Re: Some birds from the last few months...

Bloomin heck

Even though it's the least exotic, I do love the Male Blackbird shot, like everything about it. The Grey heron looks like a grumpy old man, and I think it's a wonderful capture.

Though compared to others it's not so sharp, the Sedge Warbler, singing away in the reeds? is the most atmospheric, love the light. it's a wonderful set, of many types of birds, and thanks for sharing x

So, my favourite out of all of them is the male Blackbird, may not be the prettiest or exotic bird, but love the simplicity, of it

Re: Some birds from the last few months...

Thanks Suzi! I loved him too - I saw him on that stick and nearly died! I was like *cameracameracameraaaa!*

I love the Sedge Warbler too - it looks like a hazy morning (which it was) and although, TBH, I'd have been much happier with a closer, sharper shot, I do love that it's a bit hazy and soft, as it's more feeling that way

Re: Some birds from the last few months...

great collection of birds you have there, I agree with moonstone about the male blackbird {14} and the grey heron {16} you have caught his character well,

I love the Shelduck {6} the reflection is lovely and the set of Meadow Pipits are excellent.
and as for the goldfinch, well I have been chasing them around my garden for ages and I certainly do not have one that good yet
