The Discovery

Hi this is the discovery built for Capt Scott for the trip to the antartic in it was built in Dundee, as Dundee built whaling ships for the whaling fleet which operated from Dundee anyway

As you can see she is as present in dry dock, the reason for this is that she has leaked her entire working life no matter what was done to stop the leaks. but modern technology has come to rescue and somebody has invented this tar like substance that although it dries on the outside it remains wet on the inside this makes it plyable and moves with beams of the ship and stops the water from leaking into the ship.
