Thanks Wolfie, i think the Falcon was a Saker/Gyr cross but cant be sure.

It does look more like the Gyr falcon, the Saker has a lot more brown in it's plumage. It's unusual as the Gyr are normally found in the colder climates (I suppose it would be comfortable here then )

Lovely little thing none the less
