An old shot reprocessed

I took this shot a few years back when I first got my Canon 85L lens and wanted to see what it was like for a spot of automotive photography, originally taken in colour but I thought it may look good with a bit grain and in b/w.

Your thoughts please, as honest as you like

Re: An old shot reprocessed

One of the reasons I shoot in RAW format with my Nikon is because years later I can return with a new computer/software/plugin/knowledge and redo that image. Things like Nosie Reduction, Enhancement Plug-in Suite, Custom Frames, Edge Treatments can all dramatically improve your first attempts at post processing an image.

You've done a good job of framing and processing this image Ken s that the viewer's eye is immediately drawn to the central subject, the car. That image is tack sharp and perfectly exposed.

I don't always agree turning an image to black & white as I started my photographic journey there and feel conversions don't do the genre justice. This is an exceptional use of black & white to convey a mood.
