yes - Fiona is growing - she's still a little button of a thing but she's s sharp as a pin.

Promo wise - I joked about that to Karen. I think I could get all 3 kids hanging off those legs.

It's a Slik PRO 700DX Mark although it has a Manfrotto 498RC2 Ball Head on in that pic. Sorry if that sounded geeky

I can give you more info or pics if you want but I can't praise it enough esp if you want to use heavy gear or are tall. Although I've a few heads - the 3 way head that comes with it is a belter.

Thanks Phil. I was looking at some of the tripods in jessops today, the highest price one they had on the shelves was the Manfrotto 190 CX Pro. Would of been perfect but i would of had to buy an attachment that would fit the 500D, of course more money to fork out on a tight budget. What i liked about it was that the legs folded down horizontal and you could move the head into a horizontal position as well for doing macro, although it did not look as sturdy as the 700DX you have. I`ll probably shop around for a bit longer yet, not in a major rush to upgrade my current pod really at the moment.
