My first atempt using the macro setting.

This is my first go, It is of one of Jakes paw, It needs a clean and is allergy has flaired up so is a bit red.

Kit 1
Nikon D40

Lovley- very good for your first attempt.

However i think it would have more impact in B&W

Agree with K. Also, see if you can take a pic of it with a different background (don't ask me what tho lol). Treat the background and the surrounding areas as part of the pic (ie remove hairs/dirt etc outta the way first if you can).

Great pic tho - nice n sharp!
