Battle Re-enactment

Well, not quite a battle re-enactment, as there were only about a dozen of them, but these guys gave a very gritty, entertaining and informative little show, about life as a king's soldier, at the turn of the first millennium. The event was held within the ancient walls of Bothwell Castle.

I have loads more photographs from yesterday to go through, so I'll maybe post some more later on.

Re: Battle Re-enactment

Cool

What a gorgeous castle it is stunning

I think my faves are three and four , just for the expressions you have captured on their faces.

The last one is funny just for the look on the mans face, as the sword comes toward him

Re: Battle Re-enactment

Thanks Moonstone

I know they're nothing special, but I don't often post pictures of people, so I thought I'd share them.

It really was an interesting little show. The folks behind it are really dedicated, and they had loads of crowd participation too, which always takes the boredom out of these things for the kids
