photography abroad

Does anyone know of any issues with taking their photography kit through customs?

I'm going to Turkey in may, and i want to take my camera... I just don't want any issues going through, and i'd rather carry it on board the plane too.

cheers

Re: photography abroad

Yeah I would take it on board too, rather than in the hold. You have to make sure it's in a bag tho as you won't be allowed to hold it (or hang it round your neck) for take off/landing.

Not sure about customs tho...
