Week One: 52 Week Project - Fill The Frame

This week's subject, is Fill The Frame, please feel free to interpret the subject, in anyway you see fit.
  • Please post your image in this thread,
  • You may give it a title
  • It would be great if you could mention how and why you shot it (optional).

I really do like that and you filled the frame well, nice shot, and works well in those colour tones

After seeing this thread it got me thinking what could I do. I then looked at the Chinese solitaire board and thought, hummm, marbles.


I did have fun though. I started shooting them at different levels. A good thing was practicing aperture mode with dof.

I like the image, but also the subject matter, I like the combination of the warm wood and the cold glass,plus, marbles are always pretty. Works well.

I know I should have filled the frame with marbles, but there wasn't enough.

Must admit Azz as soon as I seen yours I thought, oooOOO, that's good. My first thought was peanuts that I put onto my bird station, but that is kind of nicking your idea. Then I looked at the Chinese solitaire board.....
