The shadows were so deep in the winter sun that I struggled with midtones...am in dire need of some Landscape practice.

Fife is beautiful for those of you who don't know it, it's well worth a visit. Wait a few months though as a lot of the historic buildings are in scaffolding at the minute which makes for some interesting cropping options. :/

haha, I was taking photos of the dog at the beach one day and left my shoes further up...so busy taking photos, thinking great, these are getting better and better....then realised the tide was coming in all around me saved my shoes by about a minute but they were still ruined, just as well I got them though, cos I went there by bus!

I learned really fast that Wellies come in very handy because when you are after a shot you will go to bizarre lengths.

I try to keep a wee mantra in my head about the cost of Camera& Lens replacement should I go 'kersplat' but dignity rarely enters the equation.
