Re: Found some butterflies!

Some lovely species - it's a shame the images are so noisy - especially the first one. Keep practising though - I love seeing the different species you get <3

Re: Found some butterflies!

Yes, when ever I zoom at all I get noise...I use one or another of some noise elimination programs, usually PSP"s save edge eliminate noise but to get rid of it all makes the picture too soft. Thanks for looking, Zoundz.

Re: Found some butterflies!

Lovely butterflies - I fancy going to the Butterfly House near Edinburgh sometime.

With regards to the noise. - I can't read your EXIF Data but do you know what ISO these shots are ?

I'm not familiar with the camera model you have listed but if it's set to Auto ISO you might find the camera is using a much higher ISO than it really needs to.

If you've enough light and the subject is still (ish) you can overide the Auto ISO and set a low ISO so your noise will be reduced a lot.

Re: Found some butterflies!

Like images 2 & 3 Shirley . Looks like the swallowtail has been in some battles with parts of his wings missing.
