That is interesting I have used it when taking a white dog in sun, wondered why it did not really work the way I had hoped now I know, trouble is sometimes there is little time for novice like me to remember what I am doing and still get the shot, think I will really have to bite the bullet and ask people to pose for me then there is less need to panic.

Yeah its there for the cameras metering system mostly as it can become confused with the shadows and over expose the lighter bits your trying to shoot or vice versa

It will be a subject that we will be featuring in one of the lessons in the future
