Re: Another crash - to close to home this time

omg thats terrible. Glad you are all ok! Still a very scary thing to have happen right on your door step! We live right on the very busy A77 in Maybole, Ayrshire. Where the residents have been campaigning for years to have a bypass! Why does it take multi-fatal incidents for something to be done, things should be done to prevent these!

Re: Another crash - to close to home this time

Blimey! Well you've had two major accidents there now! They should put traffic calming measures there not cameras (as they won't stop the stolen vehicles).

Let us know how you get on - send the pics to the local press!!

Re: Another crash - to close to home this time

Thanks Guys - managed to catch up on some sleep this afternoon, so feeling a bit better.

Im not sure about calming measures Azz, its a dual carriage way that goes on for a fair bit and gets really busy during the day. I think cams may be the only option.

Checked outside and took a few pics. Realised the lampost had gone through the neighbours roof into their attic. They have no house insurance!!!!

All the work is cosmetic thank goodness and should be sorted out within the week

They are that kind of people Jols - elderly brother and sister. The house was passed down to them - it was formerly a family bakery many years ago, they didnt continue with the business and the house is falling apart (they only live in the back of it). We want to buy it from them, but they wont sell.

Kids were fine. Luke was at his dads and JJ slept through it all!
