Re: Black and White help!

Jols

I have an old NIK sofware program on my other computer which offer a variety of B/W options with adjustments. Don't know if its still a free download, funnily enough I can't seem to get that copy of mine to work on this computer. Something I will have to look into, maybe its a windows XP thing only

Found it go for the 15 day free trial

Re: Black and White help!

Hi Bazza ,

I don't mean to stress you out , maybe I shouldn't pass comment until I have a better computer . I just Jols image in comparison to yours looked better on my screen , maybe the whites were bleach and the blacks blocked .

Having said that , as you say " if the client likes it then no problem "

Re: Black and White help!

Otta

I don't disbelieve it may well look better on your screen, its just that I was of the same opinion about photos on my other 2 computers with Samsung screens.
Having done an expensive upgrade directed purely for photos/videos I can see a huge difference. If anyone had told me that before I would have thought " yer so he says but it can't be that good".
Its really down to a case of seeing is believing in the end, which is why I sold my colourmunki calibration kit it became redundant.

Your second edit looks the best Jols.
