My Lion Print Came In

I was so excited when I got an email from Costco that my lion canvas print was ready for me. It's a 20"x30" canvas of one of my favorite zoo lion photographs taken a few weeks ago. A friend gave me a $10 off coupon so I ordered the print. It cost me $60 after the discount which is really good considering I don't need to frame it. I have to show it around to a few friends before actually mounting it on the wall but I know it will hold an honored place there.

Re: My Lion Print Came In

You'll have to show us a shot of the canvas Bob once you've got it in place.

Certainly a lovely image to have made up. I've been tempted to have a landscape one done in the past but knowing me I'd end up wishing I'd chosen a different one 5 mins later.

I took the photograph you just saw in front of you, extended the canvas size 1.5 inches, and filled in the white border with a context aware fill in Photoshop CS5. That way the actual shot just extended itself and wrapped around all four edges. I really looks cool. They did a smashingly good job.

I have this shot also being made into a 20x30 canvas.
