Re: Simple Siskins

Thanks Daisy. I've tried to get the perches in the right place for backgrounds but the birds don't always play ball.

What would have if you went over ISO of 800?
If I want to crank the ISO right up to get very fast shutter speeds in decent light but with a smaller aperture for greater depth of field (think fast flying swallows where deeper dof is forgiving) then that's fine but ISO 800 is about the point where my 40D gets very noisy in low light.

Don't get me wrong, if a dodo showed up I'd use whatever ISO my camera went to but for stuff in the garden that will be back on a brighter day - I'll wait.
