Sharp where it matters, the OOF background sets it off well, think they are Painted Lady butterflies, im not so hot on undersides.

I have never seen that kind of butterfly but the thistle looks like Teasel to me, also called goat's beard, very common up in Michigan but not down here in Florida...another month or so the Horrible Thistle will start blooming, a sure sign spring is here..I see the leaves coming up now..Enjoyed your butterflies as I miss them around here. Did see 12 Sulphers and 2 Gulf Friterlaries on Sunday, both of those can take cold temperatures.

I never seem to see any pretty butterflies here. Always those white ones (as you can tell my knowledge of butterflies is ace).
