Hey there,

Nice pic, good pose - well exposed and good composition. I see that you have desaturated it a little. I think to get a 50s feel you need to play with the hue, the one thing that early colour prints were bad at was colour representation, so change the hue slightly so all the colours are a bit off

Add some noise too, grain adds to that film feel.

In the 50s Kodak released the Eastman color 35 mm negative film. Try searching for some scans of that film, and you will see the effect you need

Nice photo though, will probably look good whatever you do to it
