Thanks for the offer! I had a look at the link and it certainly seems a great place for waterfalls (especially Translyvania!). With 4 dogs we don't tend to go abroad much, but never say never My OH used to go to the States regularly and I have been a fair few times myself and would certainly love to go back

We don't have as grand waterfalls over here but these are some of my attempts

Nice set of images there BP, with no.5 being my favourite. I always love shots with nice warm colours that remind me of summer

The general Landsape there actually looks a lot like my region/state, South Lanarkshire, up here in Scotland, only I bet it's a lot warmer there, lol

Thank you Mande Daguerre. I have really enjoyed looking at the landscape over there thanks to this forum. Temp today is near 70 degrees, very nice! Summers in the Carolinas are brutally hot though, each day in the 90-100 degree mark.
