The SpYder who came in from the cold

This little fella was in the very 1st images i posted in YOP back in July. as he only comes out at night i decided to invite him inside for a little while and capture a few images through the macro lenses. Previous images taken through my Sigma 70-300mm Macro lens.

Its crazy really knowing how close i got to him to image him, a couple of inches away, not so long back you`d be lucky to see me within a few feet of a spider this size. Still not brave enough to pick him up with bare hands though

Mark, what lens did you have on the last one? It looks well framed with nasty looking eyes. Just a shame the hairs on the legs are a bit soft.

I like spiders, always have. They help to get rid of flies.... Now flies are proper yuk.

Re: The SpYder who came in from the cold

We have a coal shed that had not been opened for about 20 years until 2007, when i did open it i was greeted by a spiders web from floor to ceiling. I`d hate to see the spider that lived in it,lol
