I much prefer the colour of the second shot Mark, It nice to do indoor stuff like this. I had a play with different coloured gels on my flashes last year when the weather was bad.

You given me some impetus to get them out again and have another play at the weekend

Well those are something i have never hear of before, colored gels for flashes. If the weather stays like it is right now you should have plenty of chance to use them and look forward in seeing the results.
Nighttime photography inside the house is something i will have to work at, ideally i could do with a professional photographers kit and a room i could designate as a photo room, just a shame i havent got a spare room at present. Which is a good thing in a way, as i do not want to get too ahead of myself, i need to take things slowly and learn one technique at a time instead of trying one thing one day and moving onto the next.
