Breeze, Border Terrier in B/W.

These were taken a couple weeks ago, I like them in mono, what do you guys think? I think this dog "suits" mono photography, whereas my others dont for some reason! In the second pic, her eyes follow you.

Re: Breeze, Border Terrier in B/W.

I think the contrast between dog and background lends itself to mono captures - however, I think the BT has such a gorgeous coat that full colour does it real justice.

What a cracking little character!

Re: Breeze, Border Terrier in B/W.

Thanks JR. I think youre probably right, she is stripped out so her coat is lighter in these pics than it would normally be, perhaps in full coat she would be better in colour!

Aw Breeze such a little lady I like them, I think they work, your Mono conversion is very good. It is full of tones and not at all flat. You are right about her eyes, they do follow you, they are lovely and dark. She is wonderful xx

Re: Breeze, Border Terrier in B/W.

I love her expression in the first one Dawn! She has posed perfectly for you too

The second is a great pose with good composition too, just the background seems a tad dark here, esp to the left :-/
