Week 24
Another try with Baby A.She was rather uncoperative again. Had a little snooze in the clothes / hat she came in but would have nothing to do with the gorgeous hats I had ready for her try!
Once again my exposure was completely off and lots of recovery was needed in Photoshop. I know where I am going wrong though and I'm looking forward to trying again with my brand new Nephew next week.

I have been pulling an all nighter to catch up on photo editing and compiling Photobooks as Christmas presents for the olds!

Week 25
This weeks lesson: remember to check your ISO setting before bribing your small child to sit still!
I didn't notice until she legged it that I had my ISO up at 1600 from the last time I had used it. So the result is very noisy, but I like it anyway!

Week 26
This week's 52 was a try at a storyboard.
The kids make decorations for their Nanny every Christmas, so I made this and printed it to go with her decorations.

Week 26
Wow! Week 26 - thats half a year!!!
This week I had the joyful job of photographing my new nephew.
My lesson learnt from this shoot was to be more ambitious and braver. He was very co operative so I wish I had tried out more poses and blankets.
I'll post more in another thread, but here are my 2 favourites:
I started a 365 project yesterday so next week I'll have 7 to choose from!

Week 27 of photography
Week 1 of 2010
Week 1 of 2010
This week I have started my new 365 project.
I am doing 1 family portrait a day (some formal but mostly informal) for a year.
I'm shooting Saturday to Friday then at the weekend I am editing and putting them into a storyboard. At the end of the year I'll have them printed as a book for the rellies.
All the photos will be shot in manual so I'm looking forward to learning loads about portraits and exposure this year.
This week has an extra as the 1st was a Friday.
