Duck (or grouse)

I like this...it isn't very sharp, nor well framed, but for me it works. I would like to say it was planned (and will, if you like it) but in truth it was a snatched shot as the duck took off...

Great capture, not sure of the colour pop though

The problem is, it was on a canal, in Coventry...so weed, crud, mud, broken bottles...the full colour picture is just confusing and drab...



I wanted to rescue the handsome fellow from the dross...

It is a cracking shot, not an accident because you knew what to do. I prefer it in the natural background and don't feel too sorry for him every year female mallards are drowned because the males go in for mass rape, don't suppose he will mind the odd coke can or shopping trolley he will have his mind on other things.
