Re: Christchurch Priory

Nice colour, but it just doesn't quite work for me sorry
(Are you sure you want these images in AOP? The sections are usually for the work you are most proud of - hence people will judge accordingly)

Re: Christchurch Priory

Don't be upset Sally that is one of the problems with having different sections you have to place them where you think best but if others don't agree with you it can feel like a put down when really, I think, most on the forum would wish to encourage fellow photographers whatever their skills.

Carry on enjoying your photography and try the General section that is where most of us post, you will get C & C if you want it, some people do not feel able to comment on the Art of Photography section so you are limiting yourself to the comment you will get.

See you in General then

Re: Christchurch Priory

I agree - you shouldn't be upset about the critique. If this was in the gneral section, people may not be quite so harsh. Personally, there's a few distractions in the photo - and the bulding is overexposed.

I think it could work, but I think perhaps you need to go back and try a few other angles and see what you come up with.
