Re: Portraits from the weekend

Gobsmacked, thanks so much everyone

Bob, indeed black coated dogs are my nemesis, I aim to one day capture one as well as Phil always gets the lovely Breagh

Dawn, yep see what you mean about collars, I did`nt think of it when I took the shots, it was a bit rushed also as it was lunch break during training but next time I will ask the owners to remove their doglets collars for portrait shots

Snapper, completely understand re the position of number fours crop, [ sorry about not numbering, I completely forgot ], in my defence I did it that way as the doglet in that one ended up getting the award for most improved dog and handler of the weekend so I thought leaving the kit visible in the distance would be a nice reminder for her but I will do a re-crop for her owner as well when I do the fence cloning work

And Snapper I`m staying in beginners for now, it`s warm and safe in here so you`ll have to wait a bit longer to bring on the big critique guns
[ But I thank you for the wonderful compliment ]

Re: Portraits from the weekend

The idea of getting good enough to frighten them frightens me

Re: Portraits from the weekend

Thank you so much

I have finally printed out the third one at A4 and I`m thinking of entering it a photo comp - won`t get anywhere cos there will be far more experienced photographers than me entering it, [ the KC photography comp ], but what the heck, it feels great to have taken a pic I can even consider submitting
