I guessed it was probably not at all attractive in colour or you would have left it, strange the pipe looks like a cute fence, sad to hear it is not.
Thought it may have been a vapour trail, but it looks like the emulsion has been scratched, see there are down sides to making you shots look as if they were made 40 years ago.

you see going for the authentic look
It is one of those places that has, the perfect shot crying out, I just haven't found it yet
The red really glows in the sun, might try on a more overcast day
