As you know, I like this not for its artistic merit, but for the luck in capturing it on film.

I've only ever seen a Grass snake swimming twice before but have never had my camera with me to capture the occasion.

One learns something every day, I didn't know Grass Snakes could swim.
As for the photo what a fantastic shot and how lucky to have got it, and so clear as well.
