Re: Second batch from my 24mm trial

Hi Snapper nice photos. Number one hasn't really got a strong enough focal point for me, and seems a bit flat but number two and three are great. The black and white crop works well, very atmospheric and love the way you've framed the second pylon. The third picture might look good with the grass cropped out?

Re: Second batch from my 24mm trial

Aren't pylons great subjects! and they keep still

It has to be the last one fo rme Jackie out of all the shots, I love the composition, all the vertical and horizontal lines, but it still workslove the rich tone of the earth too.

The one above it, maybe go in even closer so all you can see is the structure , nothing else? xxx

Re: Second batch from my 24mm trial

Thanks, when the weather improves a bit I will visit the pond and the pylons again and take your comments on board to see if I can improve the images I get. Bet I will have a problem with sun and the pylons but we will see.

Suzi I will go and crop the B & W closer and see the effect, think you can learn a fair bit when editing lets you see the effect you would have got had you chosen a different viewpoint and or exposure something else I am needing to get to grips with.

Wish now I had tried to get in closer to the first structure problem was a dyke (ditch) in the way and I was worried about falling in, not that much water but I doubt I could have got out, embarrassing.

Re: Second batch from my 24mm trial

One of the hazzards of Lincolnshire I am afraid, even have one down the side of our field, mind you loads of ducks and heron but the surface it is too deep for photographing
