Photoshop Elements question...

Hi Guys

For those of you that have used elements, i have someone interested in buying a copy but they want to know if the an do colour selection in it (aka colour pop), can you do it in this program?

I've never used elements so can't help sorry Sam.

Is there a manual or something that can be searched on adobes site?

I have Elements, and I have colour popped , badly

The way I do it, which is probably wrong is
Choose your picture
Go to Layer, Select New Adjustment Layer.
Then click on Hue/Saturation, and OK

Turn the Saturation button all the way to the left, and click OK.

Select the paintbrush tool with black piant, and go over what you want to colour pop, it should appear in colour. And just save as normal.
