Photography at crufts...

Is anyone on here going to crufts? I had to sign an agreement from the press office (link on crufts website) saying that any photos i take are for personal use only... has anyone else who's going done this?? It also says i shouldn't take photos of individual dogs without the owners/showers consent...

Sounds like a lot of effort just to take some pics.... It will be my first time with the new camera too...

Blimey! That's a bit of a pain! What happens when TV broadcasters etc go down?

I have never got permission to take pictures, hundreds flock into the ring to photograph the winners, it happens all the time. Did you say you were a pro? Ill be there tomorrow and Sunday.

That's the K.C for you isn't it ??....you can be asked to leave if you look like a pro & haven't signed the disclaimer.
The Dogs Today photographer hasn't been granted a pass, due to an article printed in the magazine, questioning the K.C acredited breeder scheme.
I was supposed to go today & tomorrow, but have a business event tomorrow,so had to pull out.
Hate the lighting at the NEC anyway .

Doubt that it's just due to that article that the DT photographer wasn't granted a pass.
