Like the mute Swan the best Mark

Not actually that far from me Cakey, 24 miles or so, never heard of it before

Thanks Laura.....3 i were not sure about, when i originally saved the image of the tit i did type in Great Tit as it looked like one on the RSPB site, but i was still not 100% sure due to the width of the black stripe on his chest. The Ducks i did think were Gadwalls but was still not totally sure, i would rather somebody identify them for me if i cannot match them to any bird on the RSPB site. The Moorhen confused me a bit, the beak looks more curved than the other images i have or i have seen online. But thankyou for identifying the 3 of them for me

Thanks Ken, finally an image of a swan that was not blown out I was hoping to see some Whoopers or Bewicks today but sadly not.

I can confirm the Cormorant Mark, everyone else has nailed the missing ID`s, very same spread of birds i get on my lake

Another beautiful set Mark

Its not very often i see the cormorants in the water Brian, they usually spend most of their time on the platforms in the middle of the lakes, so it was nice to see this one swimming around and diving to feed. I did photograph what i think are pochards yesterday too, images did not turn out well due to how far away they were though.
Hopefully as winter draws in it will bring some more migrants over to our lakes and reservoirs instead of just the usual suspects, although it was an improvement from the last time i visited here Brian, a few more species to be seen
