The MB-D10 allows photographers using the D700 to achieve a maximum frame rate of 8 frames per second. Professional photographers will also benefit from the grip’s ergonomic design which features an alternative shutter-release button, multi-selector and AF start buttons, all beneficial when holding the camera in the vertical shooting position. It's being bundled a lot over here with lens, and grip,seems to normally be a sign that it is being updated
gets bundled in good deals for a few months , plus the price has dropped too.
So, now eagerly waiting, to see what they update it with
I've been using the Nikon 24-70mm for a week, and I am in love, it's awesome on a D300 it's roughly 36-105mm, so can't wait to get it on a FF.

Ooo nice - the 24-70 is lush!
I was looking at D300's on ebay the other day, hoping they would be selling for less than £500 - but there's not much about unfortunately... and I'm missing having a good camera around!

That's a good deal.
The fact that the grip on the D300 fits the D700 is also good.
Nothing worse than wanting to upgrade the body when you've forked out for a grip on your existing body and it's no use.

I've hired it for 2 weeks, have another week to go,for some stuff I have been doing /am doing. TBH, I am not sure if it will be going back, when you lease , you have the option to buy, they assess how old it is, how much it's been rented,etc. Think it will be staying, I am in Lurve
