Re: Touching Moments

Every now & then we are privileged to have camera in hand when a special shot happens. I remember one such event when a married couple, friends of mine, were walking ahead of me on a paved path, hand in hand while a sunset was happening in front of them. I captured the shot, added the text of the 23rd Psalm over them and presented it to them as a framed gift.

I feel that kind of emotion in your photography. Keep it up!

Re: Touching Moments

Bob, that such a nice compliment - thankyou. Its hard to find those defining moments, but they do come along now and then, and like you say - capturing that shot, makes what we do worthwhile!

Again this is another bit of processing that im beginning to love! It gives that golden hour glow to pictures that dont have it! This shot has been on my HD for some time, but i could never do it justice! Finally adding the processing has really picked it up and made the shot!!

Re: Touching Moments

Ok its a biggy..

1. Duplicate layer - set to luminosity
2. Duplicate again - set to vivid light
3. Add warm filter to the image and adjust curves.

4. Duplicate the layer and ad a vignette
5. On a new layer - use a solid blue and then change the layer to exclusion
6. Same as step five but with a red tone
7. Adjust the curves
